1. One round, step by step

  1. The host presses Create Room and shares the invite link or the six-character room code.
  2. In the lobby the host picks a drawing style (Normal or Crop), whether to use a guesser, and the drawing time.
  3. Every artist gets the same prompt and draws alone. Nobody sees another drawing before the reveal.
  4. When time runs out, the pieces are stitched into one square 2×2 picture.
  5. With a guesser, that player writes a one-line interpretation. Without one, everyone sees the result and the prompt together right away.
  6. On the result screen the host chooses Next round or Wrap up. Wrapping up unlocks saving and sharing the results.

2. Normal vs Crop

Normal

One picture is split into four pieces and each artist gets different pieces. You draw only your own piece on a large canvas and never see the others. The default is 15 seconds per piece.

Crop

Every artist draws a complete picture of the same prompt. At the reveal, quadrants are cropped from each picture and stitched into one. The default is 60 seconds per full drawing.

Both styles share the same drawing-time presets: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, or 90 seconds, chosen by the host. Normal applies it per piece, Crop per full drawing.

3. With or without a guesser

Drawing style and the guesser setting are independent, so all four combinations work.

  • With a guesser (3–5 players) — one player waits without seeing the prompt, then writes a single final guess about the stitched result. While waiting, guessers share a guesser doodle pad they draw on in turn. The guesser role rotates fairly until everyone has had it once.
  • Without a guesser (2–4 players) — everyone is an artist, sees the prompt, draws, and reveals the result together.

Guesses are never judged right or wrong, and there is no score, no give-up button, and no guess limit.

4. Making it better

  • Get on a voice call. There is no in-game chat or voice. Reactions at the reveal are the best part, so use Discord or any other call.
  • Drawing skill is not required. The worse the drawing, the better the monster.
  • Turn on custom prompts to play rounds with words each player submits.
  • On the wrap-up screen you can save results as PNG or share them as one collage. Images are never stored on the server.

5. Frequently asked questions

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, tablets, and desktop. There is no app to install, and the drawing tools adapt to the screen size.

Do I need an account?

No. Enter a nickname to create a room or join one with a six-character room code or an invite link. There are no payments, ads, or accounts.

Can I stream it or make videos?

Yes. No prior approval is needed and monetization is allowed. The full terms and assets are in the press kit.

How many people can play?

2–5 players. With a guesser it is 3–5 (one guesser plus 2–4 artists); without a guesser it is 2–4, and everyone draws.

How long is a round?

The host picks a drawing time between 5 and 90 seconds. Normal defaults to 15 seconds per piece and Crop to 60 seconds per full drawing, so a round takes about a minute. There is no fixed round count: after every result the host chooses next round or wrap up.

What happens if someone disconnects?

Reopening the game in the same tab restores their seat. If someone drops while drawing, the round still finishes when time runs out, and the group can keep playing as long as the minimum player count is met.

Which languages are supported?

Ten: English, 한국어, Português, Español, 日本語, Français, Bahasa Indonesia, ไทย, Türkçe, and Tiếng Việt. Prompts appear in the same language, and you can switch languages mid-game.

Is there a score or a right answer?

No. The guesser's guess is an interpretation, not an answer submission. There is no win/lose, ranking, or automatic judging.
